The Dawn of the Fall

As we step into the age of innovation, we enter the verge of another shift in our reality. In the past 20 years, we have moved from black and white televisions to smartphones. I have more processing power in the palm of my hand today than the entire setup of NASA when they first landed a man on the moon. It seems so hard to imagine our lives without these devices, yet if we truly think about it, they have only been around for the last decade or so.

When we look at this demographic and the current trend in which the technology is moving forward, we can estimate a large portion of jobs getting automated soon. This can lead to a lot of uncertainty, and anxiety in a person's life.

I wanted to start this blog because I wanted to talk about these issues. In this age of digitalization, we have never been more connected and disconnected with the people around us. Especially in 2020, as Corona forced us to stay indoors, it has made us discover how far we can be emotionally from the people that are supposed to be the closest to us.

With the shut down of schools and offices, we have no designated working hours anymore. Sure it was fun for a few days, when we all got to stay home, but soon everyone realized, how much they didn't know about each other. Living together can be a challenge in regular circumstances, but when you are forced to stay together 24*7, it can be especially daunting.

To avoid such issues, many people have thrust themselves into their work, generating a new problems like the lack of a good work-life balance. This has led to a further decline in physical activities, making people more prone to issues related to obesity.

So here I am, to talk to you about all of this and a lot more. Let's relive our frustration together.
